DANCE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Preschool 360/Dance Combo

This class is devoted to exposing a young child (ages 3-6) to a variety of forms of music

and dance. Included are hip-hop, basic ballet, basic tumbling, and creative movement.

Dance Combo ages 6-9


Ballet

Ballet Classes are devoted to teaching ballet using a combination of Russian, French, and

American influences. Emphasis is placed on proper body placement and alignment, control

and focus.

Levels I, II, and Adult


Cheer

Learn all of the fundamentals of cheerleading, Cheers, Motions, Dance, Jumps, Kicks, Voice Projection, and Beginning Tumbling. Special Training and Preparation for Cheer Tryouts are also available at request.


Hip-Hop

Hip Hop This class combines street moves with traditional jazz to create a pop-and-lock

style that sends off a lot of energy and attitude. Not your typical hip-hop class. Each week you

will learn a new combination. A very unique street style is taught in this class by instructors that create choreography that is hot and exciting

Cardio Hip Hop

Cardio Hip Hop is a dance-based cardio class designed to get you moving to a variety of hip hop songs. In this class you will sweat out your stress with fun hip hop moves. You’ll use dance to strengthen and sculpt your body all while having lots of fun! No dance experience necessary!


Abs and Booty

Strengthen and tone your core and glutes through a variety of resistance training exercises designed to target the areas which support your lower back and provide the foundation for your body. Set to upbeat music, you’ll work your entire core and learn new exercises to help sculpt the body. This class is for all fitness levels and is a great way to fit a quick but challenging workout into your busy day.


JAZZ

Jazz This class will teach students technique & terminology as well as develop flexibility, strength & coordination. Students will learn the latest, funkiest, upbeat jazz movements along with leaps, turns, kicks & jumps to a wide variety of music. Classes are one hour long.


Lyrical/ Contemporary Classes

Lyrical is a style of dance that uses the emotion and mood of the music to elicit movements from the dancers. Students have a warm up focusing on core strength, flexibility, and movement of the back. The class includes floor work, progressions, and center combinations.


RED LIGHT FITNESS 

Welcome to the class that promises to deliver Sexy Abs and a Seducing Gluteus Maximus! This class is a dynamic fusion between booty sculpting and Twerk cardio dance. For the first half of the class, we will concentrate on lifting the booty and tightening our abs. Round two, will introduce you to a Booty Bounce, Isolation Tricks, and much more! This class is so much fun, you'll forget you're burning calories! 


ZUMBA

This class will definitely have you breaking a  sweat. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
